WOLFIE SEEKS FOREVER HOME

Wolfie is a white, long haired German Shepherd male dog, who due to a change in the owners personal circumstances (divorce), need to find him another home.

He is Kennel Club registered, with full pedigree.

(Certificate Missing But Full Details Can Be Supplied).

He is the Grandson of Herman. He is approx. 15 months old, and a large dog. He’s also boisterous and will require some training, but he would be well worth the effort as he is a very attractive dog.

Please contact Julie Norton by e-mail or call one of the numbers below

18 month old White short coat GSD male needs a new home FAST!!

We have very little further information.
We do not think he has papers, definitely is not inoculated and is entire.
He is described by the vet as healthy and good with people. We believe that there is a problem with the other male dog is the household and the owner asked the vet to put the GSD to sleep before Xmas when the 2 dogs had a bit of a spat. The vet refused as they will not put a healthy dog to sleep.

If you think you can help please either call the current owner on
0115 946 2551 or if you would prefer to speak with the vet first, please call Carla (vet) on 0115 972 3650.

Blue Seeks New Owner With Lots Of Time On Their Hands

Through no fault of either his own or his current owner, Blue is seeking a new home with an owner that has plenty of time for him.

Blue's current owner adores him but due to her work (Nurse), she cannot dedicate as much time to Blue as she ought to so rather than have him spending hours at a time at home on his own, she has made the heart wrenching decision to rehome him with someone who has the time to spend with him that he deserves and needs.

This is how his current owner describes Blue:

Blue will be 5 this Nov, no papers, neutered. Very good with kids but tends to knock small kids over as he walks past. Not keen on some men but i think that's a protective thing towards me because he isn't like that if my son in law takes him out. Not scared of noise, fireworks, crowds etc but does get excited around people he thinks will play with him-as in getting him jumping up etc. He is clean in the house but he does prefer to still sleep in his crate. He will go into the bin or bags if they are left lying around. He will also steal food if given the chance! best bet is move every bit of eatables out his way! He is still obsessive about his ball, he will give it back to me but not to anyone else. Walks not too bad on lead but will pull if you let him. He is used to a head collar but i don't use it much. He loves the car and will sit in boot bit and doesn't jump over. He hates cats and will chase one if off lead. When he is unsettled as he would be going to new home he might well poo in their house-so i want them to be prepared! He loves people, apart from the postman, is good with some dogs but not always good with other male dogs if they try to dominate him.

In short he needs, walks, company, further training, and someone who knows what they are doing and of course they have to be good to him. I also want them to know if they decide not to keep him he comes back to me.

As you can see, Blue's current owner has been more than honest about him and has hidden nothing away. In the Webmasters opinion (I know the current owner through the internet), this dog needs nothing more than a good, kind, firm experienced GSD owner who has the time to spend with him and he will be a fantastic companion.

Blue is currently in Scotland, but travels well.

If you think that you can offer this beautiful GSD a forever home, please contact Dave the webmaster in the first instance.

CAN YOU HELP CHANCER??

Chancer is looking for a forever home with an experienced GSD owner

At just 13 months old, Chancer has not had much of a start in life. Could YOU be the person to change all that?

Lacks socialization with people and dogs. He is ok with dogs but hasn't learned how to interact and read signals of other dogs. Wants to play with them but doesn't know when to stop or when a dog is not interested in playing.

Guards his food bowl.

Will jump at strangers and sometimes nips as well while out walking.

Will allow visitors into the home but will jump up at them.....is uncomfortable while they are in the room......will sit and eye ball them and when the visitor goes to get up to leave will lunge at them....

This poor dog just needs some training. In the right hands he could be a lovely pet.

For more information and photo please contact:

Helen at Woodgreen animal centre on  08701  904090   ex290

Note from Dave (Webmaster):

If Chancer is re-homed by someone within the area I cover for training,

(M1 corridor between Nottingham and Leeds, M62 Corridor...if in doubt ask!!)

I will give a few hours FREE training if required to help him settle into his new home and help his new owners deal with any problems
